A Taste of Vacation Comes Home: Chick-fil-A Opens in Jackson, Michigan

A Beloved Vacation Tradition Lands in Jackson—No Travel Required

For years, Chick-fil-A was a vacation treat—something our family looked forward to when we hit the road. Whether we were heading south or just passing through a city lucky enough to have one, the moment we spotted that red-and-white sign, our kids would light up like it was Christmas morning. The waffle fries, the warm chicken sandwiches, the friendly service—it all became part of our travel ritual.
Now, that same joy has landed right here in Jackson.

On April 3, 2025, Chick-fil-A officially opened its doors at 971 N. West Avenue, bringing its signature hospitality and beloved menu to the heart of our community. The restaurant offers dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and even a playground for families with little ones—a thoughtful touch that feels like a nod to all those road trip memories.

Local Owner-Operator Chantay Bollinger, originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, brings a deep commitment to community and service. Her journey from human resources to Chick-fil-A leadership is inspiring, and she’s already making waves by hiring over 100 team members and connecting with local organizations.

But for many of us, this opening is more than just a new place to grab lunch. It’s a bridge between past and present.

I still remember pulling off the highway, kids bouncing in the back seat, chanting “Chick-fil-A! Chick-fil-A!” like it was a theme park. We'd sit down, unwrap our sandwiches, and talk about the day’s adventures. It wasn’t just fast food—it was family time, a moment of pause in the middle of the journey.

Now, we don’t have to wait for a road trip. We can create those same moments right here in Jackson. Maybe it’s a Saturday breakfast before soccer games, or a quick dinner after a long workday. Maybe it’s just a reason to slow down and reconnect.

So if you’re like me—someone who’s built memories around this brand—take a moment to visit the new location. Let the smell of fresh chicken and the sound of happy chatter remind you of those vacation days. And maybe, just maybe, start a new tradition right here at home.
